If you already a completed a real estate course at a university, you will need to reach out to the New York DOS to check if your 77-hour pre-license course requirement will be waived. The DOS will waive the 77-hour pre-license course requirement if you hold a Bachelor's Degree with a major or concentration in real estate. You must submit a request for a waiver to the DOS, as well as official transcripts from your university.
